An amateur movie company in Iowa.Blue Moon was started in 2001 by David Slifka.David Slifka started making films with a neighborhood friend, Bryan Woods of Bluebox.They would make commercials and spoofs of other movies.Most of these movies were of David acting and Bryan filming on his VHSC camera. Later, Bryan started his own company with Scott Beck and not with David because David lived in another town.David then started Blue Moon and the rest is history.
