    This Hollywood costume designer is best known for his creation of the strapless black gown worn by Rita Hayworth in Gilda 1946. He also designed the gowns worn by Loretta Young during her swirling entrances in her Loretta Young Show on TV during the 50s and 60s. Decades later, he and Miss Young would marry.
