He has worked for many major studios including, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Walt Disney Pictures and HBO, as well as such notable directors, editors and producers as Lasse Hallström, Michael Cimino, Geraldine Peroni, Evan Lottman, Mike Medavoy and John Frankenheimer. His short film “The Extra®”, about the misadventures of an aging beleaguered background artist struggling to obtain a coveted speaking role, was first distributed and sponsored by HBO at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.Philip recently completed work as the editor and main title designer on “The Ministers”, a feature film starring Harvey Keitel and John Leguizamo.
