Bryan Singer has a pretty impressive, if short, set of films to his credit. His first major Hollywood film, The Usual Suspects, was followed by the dark and creepy Apt Pupil. Then he was on to comic book history with the first XMen movie and now its sequel, X2: XMen United. At a recent series of roundtable press interviews in Los Angeles, the director chatted with reporters about all things XMen, including editing for the ratings, the characters – old and new, the ease of doing a sequel, the new Wolverine videogame, and the eerie relationship of current events to the war in the film. Oh, and he also shares a bit about the unusual credit on his resume – his time spent in uniform as a Starfleet Bridge Officer.
